A handcrafted collection of multi-utility kulhads (Indian chai bowls) inspired by the Twill weaving pattern of textiles.

• Material: Ceramic stoneware, fired to 1200 degrees celsius
• Capacity: About 180 ml
• Usage: For so many things – from beverages to desserts, yoghurt and to serve dips.
• Safe: Microwave, dishwasher & food safe

 

The inside of the kulhads is glazed and the outer surface retains the natural beige matt texture of the clay.

 

The twill pattern is done using coloured slips (clay coloured with oxides and ceramic pigments) and the sgraffito technique.
