Water gives life to clay and also takes it away. Water completes the cycle of birth and death for clay.
The Memory of Water, tries to capture this elemental relationship of creation and destruction between water and clay. The water does not exist in the clay object anymore but it has left behind its memory.
Palette: An earthy beige with shades and variations
Finish: Unglazed, matt, very textured
Installation: The installation is composed of 12 individual pieces, each one about 6 x 6 inches each. Each pieces has 2 hooks attached behind to hang on 2 screws on the wall.
A linear composition looks best for this installation.
