The Pottery Lab is hosting enamel artist Kavita Lomror from Sanskriti Kendra, New Delhi this February for a series of enameling workshops over the weekend. Details are as follows:

 

Workshop 1: Enameling on Copper Jewellery

• Date: Friday 15th February 2019, 10 am to 4 pm (6 hours)
• Age: 12 years and above
• What:
  • Cutting and shaping of jewellery forms from raw copper sheets
  • Enameling the copper jewellery using the Gin Bari (silver foil) technique
  • Each participant makes about 3 pieces jewellery (1 pendant and a pair of ear-rings) of 2 x 2 inches each
• Fee: Rs. 3600+ GST all inclusive (cancellations are non-refundable)

 

Workshop 2: Enameling on Copper bowls

• Date: Saturday 16th February 2019, 4 to 8 pm (4 hours)
• Age: 12 years and above
• What:
  • Enameling on copper bowls by using fluxes, wet packing and sifting technique
  • Each participant will make one object of 4 x 4 inches
• Fee: Rs. 3600 + GST all inclusive (cancellations are non-refundable)

 

Workshop 3: Enameling on pre-coated steel

• Date: Sunday 17th February 2019, 4 to 8 pm
• Age: 12 years and above
• What:
  • Enameling on pre-coated steel using various techniques such as sgraffito, wet application and sifting technique
  • Each participant will make one object of 4 x 4 inches
• Fee: Rs. 3600 + GST all inclusive (cancellations are non-refundable)
