Handmade mugs in ceramic stoneware – “Equilibrium”
My collection in the big handle mugs series titled Equilibrium is inspired by a minimal and calm aesthetic.
The mugs are glazed on the inside in a soft pastel colour or white. The glazes I use are my own recipes and they are all made at the studio. The outer surface of the mugs retains the natural matt of the clay. I love the natural texture of the clay against skin, it has a sense of groundedness to it. The designs on the surface are done using coloured slips (clay + ceramic pigment). These designs are all hand painted and created using the sgraffito technique.
This collection is not in stock at the moment, but you can get in touch with me to place an order. They come packed in khaki boxes so are also perfect for gifting.
